What this service is
Tambola Rooms lets a host open an online Tambola (Housie) room for friends, family and office gatherings. The host pays a small fee per game for using the software room. The fee covers the software only.
No gambling, no cash prizes
- The service has no betting, wallets, stakes or cash payouts, and it never collects money from players.
- Hosts must not use a room for betting, wagering, or any real-money game, and must not collect entry fees or stakes from players in exchange for prizes.
- Prizes in the app are friendly "goodies" chosen by the host and handled outside the app.
- Hosts are responsible for following the laws and rules where they and their players live. We may suspend or delete a room or host that breaks these terms, without refund.
Rooms, credits & time
- A room opens once the host's payment is confirmed. Each payment adds game credit(s), a player limit and a time window.
- One credit is used when the host rolls the first number of a game. A game that has started can be finished even if the time window ends.
- Inactive rooms and their game data may be deleted after a period of inactivity. Payment records are kept for accounting.
Payments & refunds
If your room could not be used because of a problem on our side, contact support for a refund or free replacement game. Credit that has already been used for a game is not refundable.
Your data
Hosts give a name, email and optional phone so we can activate rooms and give support. Players only give a nickname. See the Privacy Notice.
